Step11.Pushthepinthatlocksthefrontcontrolboard,thenslideitout.

Step12.Removethetwoscrewsthatsecurethefrontcontrolboardtothefrontbezel.

Step13.Disconnectthedatacablefromthefrontcontrolboard,thenliftupthefrontcontrolboard.

Step14.Toinstallthenewfrontcontrolboard:

a.Connectthedatacabletothenewfrontcontrolboard.

b.Lineupthenewfrontcontrolboardwiththefrontbezel,thenplaceitintoposition.

c.Securethefrontcontrolboardtothefrontbezelwiththetwoscrews.

Step15.Reattachthespeakersystem,EMIcover,middlecover,opticaldrive,standholder,footcover

andstandbase.

Replacingthepowerswitchboard

Note:Turnoffthecomputerandwait3to5minutestoletitcooldownbeforeremovingthecover.

Note:Itmaybehelpfultoplacethecomputerface-downonasoftatsurfaceforthisprocedure.Lenovo
