ToreinstalltheselectedapplicationspreinstalledonyourLenovocomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonthecomputer.
2.GototheC:\SWTOOLSdirectory.
3.Opentheappsfolder.Withintheappsfolder,thereareseveralsubfoldersnamedforvariousapplications
installedinyourcomputer.
4.Opentheappropriateapplicationsubfolder.
5.Intheapplicationsubfolder,lookforaSETUP.EXEleorotherappropriateEXElesforsetup.
Double-clicktheleandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreentocompletetheinstallation.
Reinstallingpreinstalleddevicedrivers
Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoreinstallpreinstalleddevicedrivers.
Attention:Whenyoureinstalldevicedrivers,youarechangingthecurrentcongurationofyourcomputer.
Reinstalldevicedriversonlywhenitisnecessarytocorrectaproblemwithyourcomputer.
Toreinstallthedevicedriverforafactory-installeddevice,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonthecomputer.
2.GototheC:\SWTOOLSdirectory.
3.OpentheDRIVERSfolder.WithintheDRIVERSfolder,thereareseveralsubfoldersnamedforvarious
devicesinstalledinyourcomputer,suchasAUDIOorVIDEO.
4.Opentheappropriatedevicesubfolder.
5.Dooneofthefollowing:
•Inthedevicesubfolder,lookforaSETUP.exele.Double-clicktheleandfollowtheinstructionson
thescreentocompletetheinstallation.
•Inthedevicesubfolder,lookforaREADME.txtleoralewiththe.txtextension.Thislemightbe
namedaftertheoperatingsystem,suchasWIN98.txt.TheTXTlecontainsinformationabouthowto
installthedevicedriver.Followtheinstructionstocompletetheinstallation.
•Ifthedevicesubfoldercontainsalewiththe.infextensionandyouwanttoinstallthedevice
driverusingtheINFle,refertoyourWindowsHelpandSupportinformationsystemfordetailed
informationabouthowtoinstallthedevicedriver.
