Step12.Removethefourscrewsthatsecurethemotherboardtothechassis.
Step13.Slidethemotherboardupthenliftitouttoremoveit.
Step14.Placethenewmotherboardintothechassis,aligningthescrewholesinthemotherboardwith
themountingholesinthechassis.
Step15.Securethenewmotherboardtothechassisusingthescrew.
Step16.Attachallrelatedcomponentstothenewmotherboard.
Step17.Reattachthecomputercover.
Replacingthekeyboardandmouse
Attention:Turnoffthecomputerandwait3to5minutestoletitcooldownbeforeremovingthecover.
Note:Itmaybehelpfultoplacethecomputerface-downonasoftatsurfaceforthisprocedure.Lenovo
recommendsthatyouuseablanket,towel,orothersoftclothtoprotectthecomputerscreenfromscratches
orotherdamage.
Toreplacethekeyboardandmouse
Step1.Removeanymedia(disks,CDs,ormemorycards)fromthedrives,shutdowntheoperating
system,andturnoffthecomputerandallattacheddevices.
Step2.Unplugallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
Step3.Disconnectallcablesattachedtothecomputer.Thisincludespowercords,input/output(I/O)
cables,andanyothercablesthatareconnectedtothecomputer.Referto“Leftandrightview”
and“Rearview”forhelpwithlocatingthevariousconnectors.
