Replacing the internal speaker

This procedure describes how to remove and replace the internal speaker.

1. Open the computer cover. See “Opening the cover” on page 118.

2. Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to the speaker connector.

3. Locate the speaker connector on the system board. See “System board

connectors” on page 117.

4. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
