•Ifyouwanttoreturntothedefaultsettings,pressF9orselectExit➙LoadOptimalDefaults.
Usingpasswords
ByusingtheSetupUtilityprogram,youcansetapasswordtopreventunauthorizedaccesstoyourserver
anddata.Thefollowingoptionsareavailabletohelpyousetasupervisorpasswordorauserpassword:
•ChangeSupervisorPassword
•ChangeUserPassword
Youdonothavetosetapasswordtouseyourserver.However,usingapasswordimprovescomputing
security.Ifyoudecidetosetapassword,readthefollowingsections.
Passwordconsiderations
Apasswordcanbeanycombinationofupto6(1to6)alphabeticandnumericcharacters.Forsecurity
reasons,itisrecommendedtouseastrongpasswordthatcannotbeeasilycompromised.Tosetastrong
password,usethefollowingguidelines:
Note:TheSetupUtilityprogrampasswordsarenotcasesensitive.
•Havesixcharactersinlength
•Containatleastonealphabeticcharacterandonenumericcharacter
•Notbeyournameoryourusername
•Notbeacommonwordoracommonname
•Besignicantlydifferentfromyourpreviouspasswords
