1 The power shutdown
switch is used to turn the
computer off when an
application locks up or the
computer will not accept
any input. Use the tip of a
pen to press this switch.
2 The expansion
connectors allow you to
connect the port replicator
(available as an option).
3 The memory slot accepts
a dual inline memory
module (DIMM) option.
4 The memory-slot cover
covers the memory slot.
5 The hard disk drive can
be upgraded with an
optional one. The security
screw shipped with your
computer can prevent the
hard disk drive from
removing easily. (Refer to
page 45.)
6 The battery pack is a
built-in power source for
the computer.
7 The battery-pack latch
locks or releases the
battery pack.
