4.Ifamemorymodulealreadyisinstalledinthememoryslot,youneedtoremoveitrst.Pressouton
thelatchesonbothedgesoftheslotatthesametime1,andthenremovethememorymodule2.
Savetheremovedmemorymoduleforfutureuse.
5.Placethenotchedendofthenewmemorymoduletowardthecontactedgesideofthememoryslot,
andinsertthememorymodule1intotheslotatanangleofabout20degrees.Pivotthememory
moduledownwarduntilitsnapsintoplace2.Ensurethatthememorymoduleisrmlyinstalledin
theslotandcannotbemovedeasily.
Attention:Donottouchthecontactedgeofthememorymodule.Otherwisethememorymodule
mightbedamaged.
6.Reinstallthebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage61.
7.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcables.
