4. Press the blue release button 1 and slide the optical drive out the front of the

computer.

5. Remove the optical drive retainer 1 from the old optical drive and install it

on the side of the new optical drive.

6. Slide the new optical drive into the drive bay until it snaps into position.

7. Connect the signal cable and the power cable to the rear of the new optical

drive.
