•TypetheClientSecuritypassphrasefortheDomainadministratoraccount.
•CheckIgnorePasswordRecoverySettingandclickNext.
•ReviewtheSummaryandclickApplytowritetheXMLletothefollowinglocation
C:\ThinkPad.xml
•ClickFinishtoclosethewizard.
8.UsethetoolfoundatC:\ProgramFiles\Lenovo\ClientSecuritySolution\xml_crypt_tool.exetoencrypt
theXMLscriptwithapassword.FromacommandPrompt,usethefollowingsyntax:
a.xml_crypt_tool.exeC:\ThinkPad.xml/encryptXMLScriptPW.
b.ThelewillbecalledC:\ThinkPad.xml.encandbeprotectedbythepassword=XMLScriptPW.
Onthedeploymentmachine:
1.Usingyourcompany’ssoftwaredistributiontools,deploytheThinkVantageFingerprintsoftware
executablesetup.exethatwasextractedfromthepreparationmachinetoeachdeploymentmachine.
Whenthesetup.exeispushedtothemachine,installusingthefollowingcommand:

2.Usingyourcompany’ssoftwaredistributiontools,deploytheThinkVantageFingerprinttutorial
executable(tutess.exe)thatwasextractedfromthepreparationmachinetoeachdeploymentmachine.
Whenthetutess.exeispushedtothemachine,installusingthefollowingcommand:

3.Usingyourcompany’ssoftwaredistributiontools,deploytheThinkVantageFingerprintConsole
executable(fprconsole.exe)thatwasextractedfromthepreparationmachinetoeachdeployment
machine.
•Placethefprconsole.exeleintheC:\ProgramFiles\ThinkVantageFingerprintSoftware\directory.
•TurnoffBIOSpower-onsecuritysupportbyrunningthefollowingcommand:

4.Usingyourcompany’ssoftwaredistributiontools,deploytheThinkVantageClientSolutionexecutable
tvtvcss82_xxxx.exe(wherexxxxisthebuildID).
