Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoremoveandreinstallthemonitorstand.
Note:Themonitorstandisavailableonlyinsomemodels.
Toremoveandreinstallthemonitorstand,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.Then,disconnect
allpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtothecomputer.
2.Disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
3.Disconnectthepowercord,Input/Outputcables,andanyothercablesthatareconnectedtothe
computer.
4.Placeasoft,cleantowelorclothonthedeskorflatsurface.Holdthesidesofyourcomputerandgently
layitdownsothatthescreenisagainstthesurfaceandthecoverisfacingup.
5.Removethetworubberblocks1thatprotectthescrews2.Carefullyloosenthetwoscrews2that
securethemonitorstand.Then,liftthemonitorstanduptoremoveitfromthecomputer.
