TheLenovoOneKeyRecoverysystemissoftwaredesignedtobackupand
restoreyourcomputer.Youcanuseitto restorethesystempartitiontoits
originalstatusincaseofasystemfailure.Youcanalsocreateuserbackups
foreasyrestorationasrequired.
Backing up the system partition
Youcanbackupthesystempartitiontoanimagefile.Tobackupthesystem
partition,dothefollow ing:

PresstheNovobuttontostarttheLenovoOneKeyRecoverysystem.

Selectaback‐uplocationandclickNexttostartthebackup.
Restoring
Youcanchoosetorestorethesystempartitiontoitsoriginalstatusortoa
previouslycreatedback‐uppoint.Torestorethesystempartition,dothe
following:

.Thecomputerrestartstotherecoveryenvironment.

Followtheon‐screeninstructionstorestorethesystempartition toits
originalstatusortoapreviouslycreatedback‐uppoint.
Note: ToutilizethefeaturesoftheOneKeyRecoverysystem,yourharddiskalready
includesahiddenpartitionbydefaulttostorethesystemimagefileandtheOneKey
Recoverysystemprogramfiles.Thisdefaultpartitionishiddenforsecurityreasons,
explainingwhytheavailablediskspaceislessthanthe
statedcapacity.

• Youcanchooseaback‐uplocationonthelocalharddiskdriveoranexternalstoragedevice.
• Theback ‐upprocessmaytakeawhile.
