Replacingthekeyboard
Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.

Duringelectricalstorms,donotconnectthecabletoordisconnectitfromthetelephoneoutlet
onthewall.
DANGER
Electriccurrentfrompower,telephone,andcommunicationcablesishazardous.T oavoidshock
hazard,disconnectthecablesbeforeopeningthecoverofthisslot.
Removingthekeyboard
Toremovethekeyboard,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputerandthendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait
threetofiveminutestoletthecomputercool.
2.Closethecomputerlidandturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebatterypack.See“Replacingthebatterypack”onpage69.
4.Findthekeyboardmulti-toolintheshippingpackageofthenewkeyboard.Thefollowingillustration
showsakeyboardmulti-tool.
