SDRAMintothesocketata30-45°angle.ThenpushtheDDR3SDRAMinwardtowardthesocketuntil

thelatchesonbothedgesofthesocketarepushedintotheclosedposition.

8.Reinstallthecompartmentcoverandtightenthescrews.

9.Reinstallthebatterypack.

10.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandthecablestothecomputeragain.

TomakesurethattheDDR3SDRAMisinstalledcorrectly,dothefollowing:

1.Turnthecomputeron.

2.HoldF2duringstartup.TheBIOSscreenopens.TheSystemMemoryitemshowsthetotalamountof

memoryinstalledinyourcomputer.

Removingtheopticaldrive(onsomemodels)

Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.

Toremovetheopticaldrive,dothefollowing:

1.Removethescrew1.

2.Gentlypullouttheopticaldriveinthedirectionofthearrow2.
