CAUTION:
Theheatsinkmightbeveryhot.Turnofftheserverandwaitthreetoveminutestolettheserver
coolbeforeremovingtheservercover.
Toremovetheheatsink,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage21.
3.Removethemicroprocessorfanduct.SeeRemovingthemicroprocessorfanduct.
4.Loosenthefourscrewsthatsecuretheheatsinkandthencarefullylifttheheatsinkoutofthechassis.
