Usingthengerprintreader
Yourcomputerhasanintegratedngerprintreader.Fingerprintauthenticationcanreplacepasswordsand
enablesimpleandsecureuseraccess.ByenrollingyourngerprintandassociatingitwithaWindows
passwordyoucanlogontothecomputerbyswipingyourngeroverthereader,withouttypingpasswords.
Enrollingyourngerprint
Tousetheintegratedngerprintreader,beginbyenrollingyourngerprintasfollows:
1.Turnonyourcomputer.
2.TostarttheLenovoFingerprintsoftware,referto“AccessingThinkVantageprogramsontheWindows7
operatingsystem”onpage13.
3.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentoenrollyourngerprint.Fordetails,refertothehelpinformation
