•Problem:Allorsomekeysonthekeyboarddonotwork.
Solution:Ifanexternalnumerickeypadisconnected:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Removetheexternalnumerickeypad.
3.Turnonthecomputerandtryusingthekeyboardagain.
Ifthekeyboardproblemisresolved,carefullyreconnecttheexternalnumerickeypadandtheexternal
keyboard.Makesurethatyouhaveseatedtheconnectorscorrectly.
Iftheproblempersists,makesurethatthecorrectdevicedriverisinstalled.

2.ClickKeyboard.
3.SelecttheHardwaretab.IntheDevicePropertiespane,makesurethatyouseethismessage:

Ifkeysonthekeyboardstilldonotwork,havethecomputerserviced.

Computerscreenproblems

Solution:Dothefollowing:
–PressFn+F7tobringuptheimage.
–Ifyouareusingtheacpoweradapter,orusingthebatteryandthePowerManagerbatterygauge
showsthatthebatteryisnotdepleted,pressFn+F9tomakethescreenbrighter.
–Ifyourcomputerisinsleepmode,presspowerbuttontoresumefromthesleepmode.
–Iftheproblempersists,followthesolutionforthefollowingproblem.
•Problem:Thescreenisunreadableordistorted.
Solution:Makesurethat:
–Thedisplaydevicedriverisinstalledcorrectly.
–Thescreenresolutionandcolorqualityarecorrectlyset.
–Themonitortypeiscorrect.
Tocheckthesesettings,dothefollowing:
1.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickPersonalize.
2.ClickDisplayattheleft.
3.SelectChangedisplaysettings.Checkwhetherthescreenresolutioniscorrectlyset.
4.ClickAdvancedSettings.
5.ClicktheAdaptertab.
6.Makesurethatthecorrectdevicedrivernameisshownintheadapterinformationwindow.
