8.Removethescrewsanddetachthebracketsfromtheharddiskdrive.
9.Attachthebrackettoanewharddiskdriveandreinstallthescrewstosecurethebracket.
10.Placethenewharddiskdriveintotheharddiskdrivebaywiththetabfacingupwardsandthe
connectorsfacingeachother.
11.Slidetheharddiskdrivermlyintoplace,andthenreinstallthescrewtosecurethedrive.
12.Reinstallthecomputercover,andthenreinstallthescrewstosecurethecover.
13.Reinstallthebattery.See“Replacingthebattery”onpage35.
14.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcables.

1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait
threetoveminutestoletthecomputercool.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebattery.See“Replacingthebattery”onpage35.
4.Loosenorremovethescrews1,andthenremovethecover2.
